The facts

The first 1,000 days of a child's life are crucial to his or her development. Yet a major but silent societal challenge is emerging:

  • Decrease in language level
  • Decreased social interaction
  • Delayed motor development
  • Loss of attention and concentration
  • Emergence of behavioral problems

The Musical Bubble® offers an innovative solution for promoting children's development from the earliest age, enabling the brain to build itself through playful exploration and interaction.

Musical Igloo® an innovative concept

The Bulle Musicale® is much more than an educational facility. It's a secure cocoon where each child can explore the world around them in a playful, interactive way, developing their language, cognitive, motor, social and emotional skills.

By offering richly varied multisensory and multicultural activities, La Bulle Musicale® prepares children for learning and enables them to flourish. The activities offered by Bulle Musicale® around the Musical Journeys® concept help to enrich children's vocabulary, develop their social skills and nurture their imagination.

The Bulle Musicale® can also be transformed into a relaxation area with soft music, subdued lighting and other Snoezelen®-type sensory equipment.

Reduce inequalities

Children from disadvantaged backgrounds are more exposed to the risks associated with precarious living conditions. The Musical Bubble® helps reduce inequalities between children, particularly in terms of vocabulary and cognitive and physical skills.

By investing in a Bulle Musicale®, you're helping to build a fairer, more inclusive society, where every child has the same opportunities to succeed today and tomorrow.

Choosing La Bulle Musicale® means investing in the development of everyone, today's children and tomorrow's adults.

The impact the concept

Scientifically proven benefits

The Bulle Musicale® has been proving its worth for 18 years in Cap Enfants daycare centers. Regardless of the parents' socio-professional category, children improve their language skills and the beginnings of logic and reasoning.

These benefits were observed in 2016 during a neuroscience-based research-action in conjunction with INSERM. This research-action was the subject of a scientific article published in 2022. Every child, whatever his or her background, has the same opportunity to develop his or her potential.

The international scientific journal Music and Education Research published the results of this action research in May 2022.

pour les enfants

Scientific references and educational

The importance of social interaction in young children

Human interaction plays a fundamental role in the cognitive and social development of young children. Research, such as that mentioned by Hobson in 2004, highlights the importance of a child’s imitation of a third party, motivated by emotional connections, in the acquisition of skills such as language, walking and socialization. These interactions provide an environment rich in social, emotional and cognitive stimuli, which promote the child’s overall development.

The impact of multi-sensoriality on the cognitive development of young children

Using several sensory channels simultaneously, such as sight, hearing and touch, during learning enhances concentration and memorization. This multisensory approach enables children to engage different aspects of their brains, leading to better retention and understanding of information. By integrating these different sensory modalities into learning activities, educators can create richer, more effective learning experiences for children.

The multiplication of experiences and the development of memories within the framework of Pédagogie Musicale®.

Repetition and memorization: Musical rituals, such as regularly repeated songs and nursery rhymes, facilitate the memorization of sounds, words and phrases. This repetition structures learning and strengthens auditory and visual memory.

Auditory and visual associations: By associating sounds with images, children develop their ability to make multimodal connections, enriching their understanding and memory.

Stimulating imagination and cultural openness through Pédagogie Musicale® (Musical Pedagogy®)

Cultural and artistic diversity: Music exposes children to a variety of cultures and artistic expressions. By discovering music from different parts of the world, their imagination is stimulated, offering them a wealth of experiences and perspectives.

Creativity: The diversity of musical contexts nourishes children’s imagination, encouraging them to create their own songs, improvise and explore new forms of artistic expression, and develops their memory.

Developing executive functions with Pédagogie Musicale® (Musical Pedagogy®)

Inhibition: The concentration required to listen to and participate in musical activities helps children develop their inhibition skills, enabling them to focus on a specific task and ignore distractions.

Cognitive flexibility: By exploring different musical genres and instruments, children learn to be open to new sound experiences and adapt their thinking accordingly.

Working memory: When listening to music, children use their working memory to follow musical sequences, associate sounds with actions or images, and recall song lyrics.

The development of spatial and temporal reference points within the framework of Pédagogie Musicale®.

Temporal cues: Musical rhythm helps children to understand and integrate concepts of time, such as tempo, duration and the succession of musical events. These concepts can be transferred to other areas of daily life, reinforcing their understanding of time. Spatial cues: Music and movement are often combined in musical activities. Children learn to move through space in synchrony with the music, developing their coordination and spatial perception.

Emotional and social enrichment through Pédagogie Musicale® (Musical Pedagogy®)

Emotions: Music is a powerful vector of emotions. Children learn to recognize and express their feelings through music, fostering their emotional development. Social interaction: Group musical activities, such as singing in a choir or playing an instrument in a group, strengthen children’s social skills. They learn to listen to others, collaborate and take turns.
